Our client, a leading food manufacturing business based near Sheffield, is seeking a talented Senior Shift Manager to join their team. As a Senior Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising their production processes to ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency.

Position: Senior Shift Manager

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of production staff to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Develop and implement effective shift schedules to optimise productivity.
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimisation.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required.
