    As a regional sales manager in the foodservice sector, your role would involve overseeing and managing the London sales teams activities – team leadership of 6 sales executives. Our client is a well-established Foodservice provider with 3 sites across the South of the UK, the growth has been exponential over the last few years and this is an exciting time to join one of the leaders within the sector. You would be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. A vast volume of the sales within the London region comes from within Independent foodservice accounts and small groups.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Managing, leading and coaching of the team of field sales executives.

    2. Developing and executing sales plans and strategies to meet revenue targets.

    3. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the London Area.

    4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.

    5. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities.

    6. Analysing sales data and generating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

    7. Collaborating with marketing and product development teams to ensure effective product positioning and promotion.

    8. Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to stay informed about industry trends and establish new contacts.

    Requirements:

    1. Proven track record of sales within the Foodservice Sector.
    2. Experience of managing a high performing team of sales executives.
    3. Extensive knowledge of the FMCG market.
    4. Independent trade and small group account experience is desirable.

    Overall, your role as a regional sales manager in the foodservice industry would require strong leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the market and customer needs.
