Operations Director – Chilled Food Manufacturing

Salary: £90,000–£100,000 + Benefits
We are proud to be partnering with a leading chilled food manufacturer based in Greater London to appoint a strategic and experienced Operations Director.
This is a key leadership position, overseeing all aspects of operational performance across production, supply chain, quality, and health & safety. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in chilled food manufacturing and a track record of driving efficiency, compliance, and team development in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day operations across chilled food production and distribution
• Champion high standards in food safety, BRC compliance, and health & safety
• Deliver continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Manage and develop operational teams to ensure consistent delivery and performance
• Work closely with commercial, technical, and NPD teams to support growth and customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements:
• Extensive senior operations experience within chilled food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of chilled supply chain, short shelf-life production, and retail standards
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
• Commercially aware, quality-driven, and solutions-focused
