Overview:
Are you an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our client’s team. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in managing high-profile accounts, fostering strong relationships with key customers, and driving business growth. This is a home-based role with the flexibility to manage your own schedule, though occasional travel to the office and customer sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and opportunities for growth are maximized.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including R&D, Quality, and Production, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with customer requirements.
- Oversee the production and validation of customer quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Lead and project manage high-volume promotions and new product development (NPD) launches.
- Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders, including tracking sales versus budget and monitoring aged stock.
- Escalate any key issues that may impact customer satisfaction to the relevant internal authorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate or formally qualified, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing high-profile customer accounts.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office and SAP.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.
