Responsibilities as Commercial Director

As Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth trajectory of this innovative company. You will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact sales strategies, expanding market share, and enhancing client relationships.

Your leadership will ensure the company’s commercial objectives are aligned with its ambitious growth plans, delivering sustainable revenue and profitability enhancement.

Leading and motivating the  commercial team to achieve targets

Developing strategic sales plans within the meat and protein sector

Building strong relationships with key clients and distribution partners

Identifying new market opportunities and innovation initiatives

Collaborating closely with marketing and product development teams

Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy

Candidate Requirements for Commercial Director

Proven experience as a Sales Director, ideally within the meat or protein sector

Strong leadership and team management skills

Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building abilities

Demonstrable track record of developing successful sales strategies

Excellent understanding of FMCG market dynamics and consumer preferences

Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Marketing or related field would be desirable
